Brendon Cornford - Managing Director
Brendon is a MBA-qualified, accomplished and professional commercial executive who is action-oriented and results-driven. Over a twenty year career, he has added significant value to major mining, construction and mining services organisations in procurement, contract management and commercial areas and uses both owner and contractor experience to provide a unique and valuable perspective.
Brendon sees significant value in effective leadership and believes that a team can deliver more than the sum of its parts. He has a proven track record in motivating and empowering teams to seek innovative solutions to mitigate commercial risks associated with planning and constructing major projects. He provides clients with fit-for-purpose strategic advice to complex commercial and project management issues such as major project contracting strategy, contract management (including dispute resolution), negotiation planning, risk management, and governance and assurance.
Brendon's expertise in stakeholder engagement and influencing has been gained through development and presentation of major commercial recommendations and gaining approval for, and executing, major commercial deals, governance processes, audits and change management initiatives at all levels. He is experienced in maximising value through exploring innovative ways to invest capital, including leveraging emerging market opportunities, capital intensity analysis and fit-for-purpose contract strategies.
